Apple Sponge Cake

4 large or 6-7 little apples (peeled & cored)
3 tablespoons sugar
5 tablespoons rum
1/2 l water
2 Oekter vanilla pudding bags

Put a little water in pan and cook apples until mushy. Add sugar and rum.
Dissolve 2 Oetker brand puddings in 1/2 liter water, add to apple mixture and cook until the mixture thickens
Place lady fingers on a cake form and cover with apple mixture. Alternate layers and finish with a layer of apple mixture on top.
Leave to solidify in frig overnight. In the morning take out of cake form and decorate according to your liking (whipped cream works well).
