Name Days
Czech and Slovaks love celebrating special days. Besides their regular holidays and birthdays they also celebrate name days. Calendars in these countries have names assigned to almost each day. The date your name falls on is your name day and you get to celebrate that day. On your name day you may recive a small gift or at least a congratulation.
