Aquareum of the Pacific (at Long Beach) 14th Annual International Children’s Festival is celebrating the amazing talents of children of many cultures. West African, Mexican, Pacific Islander, Cambodian Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Persian, Irish, Slovak, and Czech dance are among the children’s performaces, along with martial arts demonstrations and an international children’s choir. Kids of all ages can partake in a percussion circle. Japanese origami, Native American crafts and Pacific Islander traditional children’s games . Celebrate the children in your life as you explore th wonders of the ocean.

The next House of Czech and Slovak Republics member meeting will take place on Saturday, January 12th at 11 AM in the Hall of Nations Building. This meeting will be a potluck (Salad P-Z, Main A-H, Dessert I-O). The board meeting will start at 9 AM preceeding the general meeting.
Held in Hall of Nations, this class is a requirement for anyone who wants to work in the beer garden during this ICF. This is the last of the three classes are available during the month of November. Attendance to only one of these classes are required.
This class is immediatelly followed by a Food Handlers class.

The Lawn Program will feature festive songs and dances. Lawn Programs are held on the House of Pacific Relations outdoor stage. Entertainment is free. Proceeds for food and refreshments support the House of Czech and Slovak Republics.

Dances and songs from different regions by folklore group Karicka; children groups Podkovicka, and Slunicko; children from Czech schools in San Diego.
